The names of the man and his victim are unknown, it is not sure what forced him to act in such a drastic way.

Dinwiddie Country Sheriff D.T. Adams said at a news conference: “This is certainly a tragedy … but in a rural county such as Dinwiddie it’s very unusual. I’m sure it’s going to cause a lot of people at Wal-Mart to be upset when something like this happens … because I’m upset,” Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. spokesman Dan Fogleman said that the company is grateful that the manager did not sustain worse injuries.

By Ewelina Stanik. A 32-year old men, employee of Wal-mart distribution center near Petersburg killed himself after wounding his 40-year old female manager. She was shot in the leg, but according to authorities she did not sustain life-threatening wounds. Everything happened around noon. The man had been working for Wal-mart for eight years, and was considered a good worker.
